  1. PMs sent, I've also updated the guides available. Some of them are just too far on the bottom of the list to get scanned. I'm currently on a Japanese guide kick. Million times better artwork in those guides, usually. EDIT: Just found some more Mags: Video Games Sept 96 Game Players 83 Apr 96 Gamer's Republic 33 Feb 01 PSExtreme 1/10 Sep 96 EGM 144 Jul 01 EGM 157 Aug 02 EDIT 2: Everything that has been requested so far has been shipped. Enjoy everyone!
  2. Thanks to everyone interested so far. For the GameFans and Gamer's Republic shipping would be $2.93 Media Mail. With the EGM2s it goes to $6.08. For all the ODMs and Nintendo Power shipping is $4.33 Media Mail. Well, I can use a Priority Mail flat rate box for international shipping. I can put up to 20 pounds in it and the cost is $24.65 regardless. And the weight of the EGM2s is 7lbs and they fill about a third of the box. For everyone else (international, not Canada) it seems the priority flat rate for up to 20 pounds is $39.85. For an envelope, max 4 pounds is $12.30. For everyone in the states who might be interested in the Flat rate Priority, it is $9.85, no weight restriction. Flat rate envelope, no weight restrictions, is $4.80. That includes Alaska, Hawaii and U.S territories. It's funny how you always get second thoughts when you know they are going to go away. At least they'll be going to a good cause. BTW, I'm Dooga from U-G/BitG so drop me a message if anyone has doubts about my legitimacy. EDIT: Pics of the magazines everyone has shown an interest in so far: EDIT 2: I just realized that the EGM2 pic had three missing and issue number 83 was actually an EGM sorry for the confusion. The other two have been added to the pics and the shipping quotes updated.
  3. Hi all, I am planning on getting rid of all my gaming magazines. I just don't have the time/passion to scan them anymore. I don't want to recycle them, especially any unscanned ones so I am giving them away for free, as well as a few guides I or others have scanned already. You just have to pay EXACT shipping. I'm not going scrape anything from the till, in fact, due to paypal fees I will actually go under a little. Just give me your zip for an exact quote. Shouldn't be more than $10-30 media mail for big requests; I'll also do Flat Rate Priority - all methods with tracking. Mags of value (wanted and unscanned, if any) obviously are reserved for those who have scanning history. Conditions vary, mostly good/great/mint, but for important mags I can take exact pictures. For mags noted as #1/#2: #1 stands for Volume, #2 stands for Issue. Green and strikethrough items have been called for. SHIPPING U.S (all states and territories): U.S Media Mail - $2-$30 - weight dependent Flat Rate Priority Envelope (Fits 2-10 Mags) - $4.80 Flat Rate Priority Box (Fits 10-40 Mags) - $9.80 SHIPPING CANADA & MEXICO: Flat Rate Priority Envelope (Fits 2-10 Mags - 4 pounds max weight) - $10.40 Flat Rate Priority Box (Fits 10-40 Mags - 20 pounds max weight) - $24.65 SHIPPING INTERNATIONAL: Flat Rate Priority Envelope (Fits 2-10 Mags - 4 pounds max weight) - $12.30 Flat Rate Priority Box (Fits 10-40 Mags - 20 pounds max weight) - $39.85 Official Dreamcast Magazine: 1 Sep 99 2 Nov 99 3 Jan 00 4 Mar 00 5 May/Jun 00 6 July/August 00 8 Nov 00 9 Dec 00 10 Holiday 00 CODEBOOK Holiday 2000 Ultra Game Players: 99 Jul 97 Game Players: 83 Apr 96 Video Games: Apr 96 Sep 96 Gamer's Republic: 24 May 00 33 Feb 01 PC Gamer: 7/2 Feb 00 7/3 Mar 00 Expert Gamer: 74 Aug 00 76 Oct 00 GameFan: 5/6 Jun 97 6/2 Feb 98 6/8 Aug 98 Official Playstation Magazine (OPM): 2/4 Jan 99 2/12 Sep 99 3/1 Oct 99 3/2 Nov 99 3/3 Dec 99 3/4 Jan 00 3/5 Feb 00 3/6 Mar 00 3/7 Apr 00 3/8 May 00 3/9 Jun 00 3/10 Jul 00 (x2) 35 Aug 00 (x2) 36 Sep 00 37 Oct 00 51 Dec 01 52 Jan 02 53 Feb 02 89 Mar 05 91 Apr 05 - Demo included 92 May 05 93 Jun 05 94 Jul 05 95 Aug 05 - Demo included Tips & Tricks: Dec 97 Jun 98 Aug 98 Sept 98 Oct 98 Nov 98 May 99 47 Jan 99 48 Feb 99 53 Jul 99 55 Sept 99 67 Sept 00 PSM: 1/4 Dec 97 2/4 Jan 98 19 Mar 99 20 Apr 99 21 May 99 22 Jun 99 23 Jul 99 24 Aug 99 25 Sep 99 28 Dec 99 PSExtreme 1/4 Feb/Mar 96 1/10 Sep 96 GamePro: 5/11 Nov 93 6/7 Jul 94 6/8 Aug 94 6/9 Sep 94 7/3 Mar 95 96 Sep 96 98 Nov 96 100 Jan 97 101 Feb 97 102 Mar 97 103 Apr 97 104 May 97 105 Jun 97 106 Jul 97 107 Aug 97 108 Sep 97 109 Oct 97 (quite used condition) 110 Nov97 111 Dec 97 112 Jan 98 (x2) 113 Feb 98 114 Mar 98 (x2) 115 Apr 98 (x2) 116 May 98 117 Jun 98 (x2) 118 Jul 98 (x2) 119 Aug 98 (x2) 120 Sep 98 (x2 - One Cover is backwards - Open it and you're actually seeing the last page and it's upside down) 121 Oct 98 122 Nov 98 123 Dec 98 124 Jan 99 125 Feb 99 126 Mar 99 127 Apr 99 128 May 99 129 Jun 99 (cover 2 of 2) 130 July 99 132 Sep 99 (x2) 133 Oct 99 (x3) 134 Nov 99 135 Dec 99 (x2) 136 Jan 00 (x2) 137 Feb 00 138 Mar 00 139 Apr 00 140 May 00 141 Jun 00 142 Jul 00 143 Aug 00 144 Sep 00 146 Nov 00 148 Jan 01 149 Feb 01 150 Mar 01 151 Apr 01 152 May 01 153 Jun 01 154 Jul 01 155 Aug 01 156 Sep 01 157 Oct 01 158 Nov 01 (x2) 159 Dec 01 (x2) 160 Jan 02 (x2) 161 Feb 02 184 Jan 04 185 Feb 04 186 Mar 04 187 Apr 04 188 May 04 189 Jun 04 190 Jul 04 191 Aug 04 192 Sep 04 193 Oct 04 (Collector Cover 2/2) 194 Nov 04 195 Dec 04 197 Feb 05 Ultimate Gamer: 1/5 Dec 95 GameNow: 8 Jun 03 EGM: 51 Oct 93 83 Jun 96 86 Sep 96 88 Nov 96 89 Dec 96 90 Jan 97 91 Feb 97 92 Mar 97 109 Aug 98 110 Sep 98 111 Oct 98 113 Dec 98 115 Feb 99 116 Mar 99 117 Apr 99 118 May 99 122 Sep 99 123 Oct 99 138 Jan 01 139 Feb 01 141 April 01 142 May 01 143 Jun 01 144 Jul 01 145 Aug 01 146 Sep 01 147 Oct 01 148 Nov 01 149 Dec 01 150 Jan 02 151 Feb 02 (x2) 152 Mar 02 153 Apr 02 154 May 02 155 Jun 02 156 Jul 03 157 Aug 02 158 Sep 02 159 Oct 02 160 Nov 02 161 Dec 02 162 Jan 03 163 Feb 03 164 Mar 03 165 Apr 03 166 May 03 (cover 1 of 2) 167 Jun 03 168 Jul 03 169 Aug 03 170 Sep 03 (Special cover 3 of 3) 171 Oct 03 172 Nov 03 173 Dec 03 (cover 3 of 5) 174 Jan 04 175 Feb 04 176 Mar 04 177 Apr 04 178 May 04 179 Jun 04 180 Jul 04 181 Aug 04 182 Sep 04 183 Oct 04 184 Nov 04 185 Dec 04 217 Jul 07 218 Aug 07 1994 Video Game Buyer's Guide 1995 Video Game Buyer's Guide 1996 Video Game Buyer's Guide EGM2: 2 Sept 94 5 Dec 94 17 Nov 95 18 Dec 95 21 Mar 96 24 Jun 96 26 Aug 96 27 Sep 96 30 Dec 96 Game Informer: 53 Sept 97 58 Feb 98 63 Jul 98 65 Sept 98 67 Nov 98 68 Dec 98 72 Apr 99 74 Jun 99 77 Sept 99 78 Oct 99 80 Dec 99 81 Jan 00 89 Nov 99 88 Aug 00 (x2) 92 Dec 00 93 Jan 01 94 Feb 01 95 Mar 01 102 Oct 01 103 Nov 01 104 Dec 01 105 Jan 02 106 Feb 02 (x2) 107 Mar 02 108 Apr 02 109 May 02 110 Jun 02 111 Jul 02 112 Aug 02 113 Sept 02 114 Oct 02 118 Feb 03 119 Mar 03 120 Apr 03 121 May 03 122 Jun 03 123 Jul 03 124 Aug 03 125 Sept 03 126 Oct 03 (x2) Nintendo Power Advance: Premiere Issue Official Xbox Magazine: 83 May 08 Nintendo Power: 76 Sep 95 104 Jan 98 113 Oct 98 114 Nov 98 115 Dec 98 116 Jan 99 (x2) 117 Feb 99 120 May 99 121 Jun 99 122 Jul 99 123 Aug 99 123 Sept 99 Computer Gaming World: 242 Sept 04 258 Jan 06 Next Generation: 17 May 96 22 Oct 96 29 May 97 30 Jun 97 31 Jul 97 46 Oct 98 47 Nov 98 Guides: Metal Gear Solid Official Handbook Donkey Kong Country 2 Nintendo Player's Guide BradyGames PS2 Games Preview Guide Prima's Sonic Adventure Guide Official Sega Genesis Power tips Book Official Super NES Game Guide Super NES Player's Guide Some SEGA Force Magazine with Star Wars 32x on cover. 4. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...74561&rd=1&rd=1 That seller has other mags going for a steal as well. A LOT of EGMs. The seller seems to add more everyday so keep an eye on him/her.
  5. 7z is no different than .rar, .zip. It's another format that generally give better compression than the others with certain files. Obviously it doesn't help much with pics. If you have winrar it'll extract 7z files. If not, check 7-zip.org to get the small program.
  6. She did put a link in the title on the original tracker here: http://bt.emuparadise.org:8989/torrents.php So perhaps someone else upped it to mininova
  7. Neither Chankast nor PCSX2 is worth building a computer around. Chankast has poor compatibility. It offers playable games but certainly isn't optimized to warrant a new comupter. PCSX2 is still rather eraly. It's make great leaps but it may be another year or two, at least, before the emulator is optimized enough to have good playability with games. I'd wait and just save up your money. When Windows Vista is released, new hardware will trickle out making some older hardware obsolete but cheaper.
  8. Tis how the internet works. I've seen the thread here talking about guides that came from EP. No one bothered to mention that or the kind lady that did all that work. The purpose of sharing is to share. Also, I only knew of this place because of back tracking. Now, I've donated since I found the source. If this site was more organized I'd imagine that the news would spread more favorable as well.
  9. Next Generation. Since it's OOP and a great mag. All game mages are cool though.
