  1. I'm actually rather excited to see that Zelda guide. Zelda is my fav.
  2. So I'm scanning the Official Nintendo Players Guide and its slow going. It's about 165 pages so its pretty thick. It's also bound like a paperback which has made it so I have had to rescan a lot of pages because the edge near the spine is too blurry. That in mind, I'm about 15% done. Also, this is the first time I've ever done anything like this so I'm figuring it out as I go along.
  3. LOL thats awesome. I love pixel art. Once I saw a story online about a school that used post-it note pages to recreate a screen from Super Mario Bros on the side of a massive wall.
  4. Ok, heres a link to the pic of what I've got, but I uploaded it to my really old site that is no longer going to exist for very long so look at it while it lasts lol. The line up Edit so that there aren't so many posts following each other that could be in one: The two on the left are the clones.
  5. That first one is the same one I have that has a double that is white and bound like a magazine.
  6. The soonest I can get the scanner fired up is tomorrow because my wife unhooked it and I have no idea where she put the cables. Would a picture of them all lined up do for now? Give me a sec to put it up
  7. Oh yeah, I looked at the books I have and was a little wrong on the titles. I have: The Official Nintendo Player's Guide - 1987 Consumer Guide: Strategies for Nintendo Games - 1989 Consumer Guide: More Strategies for Nintendo Games - 1989 And 2 different versions of Nintendo Strategies. Both appear to be almost identical except that one has a white cover/back and bound like a magazine and the other has a red cover/back and is spiral bound. I don't remember how I ended up with the two different versions of the one guide but I remember thinking it was lame that they had the same stuff in them. Perhaps one was a gift from my mom and the other I had bought myself. Who knows.
  8. I was going to scan and donate what I've got. Would you guys be interested in my stuff? It's not much, but its really freaking old lol. all mid-late 80's NES stuff.

This is the button image for my site. Just make it about the same dimensions and I'll put it up!

I was going to just post an article about how awesome this project is and try to get people into it. If you DO have somebody make a graphic for the site I would be more than happy to put it along the side bar of page as a permanent link button. Just have them make it about the same size as the buttons already on there.

Its http://www.forgottengamer.blogspot.com Its fairly new, and I have no intention of making it anything non-family friendly. I am attempting to make something that will stand the test of time and have a professional atmosphere. I discovered your site and was really excited about what your guys are doing here. I would like to spread the word and grow the retro gaming community.

    How Big Is It All?

Wow, thats a lot but thankfully not as much as I was afraid it was. I might be able to pull that off. Now I gotta just start downloading and converting
  15. Oh I also have some old instruction manuals to obscure games but I'm not sure if this is the site to post that sort of stuff. is it?
