"I am the law!" Seriously, without that line, I don't even want to bother.
  4. Gamestop sucks. There's no reason to shop there except that it ate all the other stores around. Thankfully, small shops are making a comeback. If you're ever in Connecticut, Matt's Comics, Cards & Collectibles has a great selection of used & new retro games, not to mention a ton of comics, action figures and awesome memoribilia. Oh, and it's located in Enfield.
  5. I already preordered one, but unfortunately it was the 8gb model. I'm going to preorder another and pick up the deluxe model Noveber 18. YEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!!!!
  6. Like many people here, I have a large video game magazine collection. Sometimes I buy large amounts of magazines or even collections. Recently I bought a collection consisting of large numbers of Electronic Gaming Monthly (my personal fav), EGM2/Expert Gamer, Gamepro, Nintendo Power, Next Generation, and PSM. While I was definitely looking for some of these, I don't need the Nintendo Powers or the GamePros. I would like to part with these, soon, as a lot. However, I have no idea how to send these properly, as in, to keep the magazines in good shape and to be cost prohibitive. There are 200+ NPs and 120+ GPs. If anybody could help me with this I would be most appreciative. Also, what's a good way to send a single magazine?

    Movie Purchases!

I buy b-movies - especially horror movies - regularly, searching thrift and secondhand stores for old VHS copies that in most cases will never be released on DVD. I just picked up The Blob (remake), Defcon 4, From Beyond, and Fire & Ice. I also picked up The Magnificent Seven, Rambo I, II, and III, Total Recall, Halloween I & II, and Terminator I, II, and III on DVD. What can I say? The price was right.
  8. I found this place a few years ago while searching for some game mags. I believe it was google, but I'm not sure. In any case I just invited a bunch of people here so hopefully we can get some new scans in.
  9. Hi. I've been collecting video games, magazines and systems for years now. I've also been a member for awhile, although I mostly lurked around.
  10. My last two purchases: Dino Crisis I & II, Nightmare Creatures I & II, Colony Wars, Future Cop: LAPD, Duke Nukem: Total Meltdown, Star Wars: Rebel Assault II, and Star Wars: Jedi Power Battles, all for the PSX. Five bucks each, CIB, practically brand new.
  11. 1. Kagero: Deception II 2. Devil Dice 3. Metal Slug X 4. Alien Trilogy 5. Resident Evil II 6. Metal Gear Solid 7. Ape Escape 8. Tekken 3 9. Colony Wars: Vengeance 10. Nightmare Creatures
  12. I've traded and/or sold a large amount of games in my life. My first regret was trading in Batman Returns for the SNES, along with some other stuff, to get Chrono Trigger. While Chrono Trigger is pretty much my favorite SNES game, Batman Returns is no slouch either. I actually just bought a lot of games and a copy of BR was in the box - go figure I put it in the system and it doesn't work. I recently got rid of nearly all of my PSX and XBox games. Frankly, I needed the money. I kept the games I loved - like Devil Dice for the PSX - and the rest of them had to go. I felt bad about it at first but the truth is I've picked up a ton of PSX games since and I've been lucky enough to find some great games I never had the chance to play through, like Dino Crisis 2. As far as the XBox is concerned, the games I buy for it now are the ones I missed through the years - The Suffering II: Ties That Bind is my next game.
  13. Graphics, Control, and the Music was some of the best ever. The game's a solid 10, even now.
  14. Palin thinks the world is 6000 years old. Look into it. I'm voting for Obama.
  15. Some newer Dell. The hard drive bought the bucket last week. F-ing ridiculous.
