  1. Repeatedly falling to my death in SMB level 1-1 and the joy I felt when I first beat that stage.
  2. My favorite was the N64 version. No load times with that one! I would stay up all night playing it with my cousins on our summer vacation.
  3. The last system I purchased new was the Wii. I preordered it months in advance and picked it up on release day. I also "got sick" and couldn't go to work the next day. Coincidence??? The last systems I purchased overall were a DS Lite and PSP (at the same time & both from the same seller).
  4. I've been playing my GBA SP (101 model) almost exclusively, even more than my consoles. And I'm using it to play the original GB games. I've been on a bit of a GB kick as of late and have picked up quite a few good games for it. Been playing The Punisher, Burgertime and TMNT a lot. It's even inspired me to dig out my original "brick" GB and fire it up, but unfortunately it doesn't work. :-(
  5. It depends. If I'm at a garage sale & the price is right, I'll certainly buy them there, but for the most part, I use a local game store for my system purchases. He's been in business for a decade and I've been going to his store since he opened. His prices are pretty close to eBay and they offer the same guarantee.
  6. The dumbest thing I ever did with video games was sell them when I got "too cool" to play. Now, I sure do miss a lot of those games and am trying to get them back (unfortunately, at much higher prices).
  7. Either Snoopy's Silly Sports Spectacular or Back to the Future NES. As a kid, I only got a game or two a year, so I had to play them no matter what. While the Snoopy game wasn't terrible, I think I was a little too old for it when I got it. As for BttF, well...it was made by LJN. I didn't know what that really meant as a kid, but now I do. Still, I played that game to death. The "walking" levels were just so terrible and boring. I just kept playing, though. Ahh...to be 10 again! :-)
  8. Despite getting this game brand new when it was released and playing it regularly until then, the only time I ever finished it was with the Game Genie! WOW! This game was brutally unforgiving. They don't make them like this anymore!
  9. Shameful gaming secret??? I own more games than I've actually played. For example, despite having so many NES games to choose from, I still play SMB2, Circus Charlie, and Felix the Cat over and over and over again! :-P
  10. I'm really digging this product, ESPECIALLY the controllers. While the Classic Controller is great, I can't wait to use them on my Wii to play my NES games on there. My prediction? The controllers will be harder to find than the systems!
  11. I'm currently playing "Revenge of the Gator" on GB. There's something strangely addicting about video game pinball. Next up, "Power Stone" for the DC. Super Smash Bros. ain't got nothing on this one! :-)
  12. I'm new to the site (so thanks for the add). I'm in PA. I can't wait to start reading all the classic mags that I loved & grew up with years ago. I'm still kicking myself for not saving these from my youth!
