Hi I forgot to introduce myself so here it is. I'm 19 years old, come from the netherlands. I like game magazines and I think its just awesome how people here are joining in to preserve historic game documents. Wish I could help a bit out with the magazines but unfortunately I don't have that much, plus most of the magazines I own are from around 2000 so it would be against the rules to upload them.

I think it was just a bad connection on my part, the site seems to respond better now.

Ah I see I thought you coded things yourself. Yeah then your best of with not moving code around unless you really know what your doing. I noticed that the website is rather slow. Now theres not much I can help with to make retromags faster without diving into the codes. But there are two tips I could give you. 1. Place all your internal css styles in a external sheet (The browser will download it and cache it so people won't redownload the same code everytime the visite a page) 2. create a htaccess file in your root dir protect it and let it cache your images,css,html,php etc. Those two tips will make this website a lot faster believe it ore not. Also the downloads hosted by retromags, will slowdown the webpage when lost of people are downloading at the sametime. So the best way to counter that is by creating a speed limit for downloads.

E-Day are the magazines now beeing hosted by retromags? I think you should try to make a download limit so the server won't slowdown to much when people try to download stuff. Mabey consider a speed limit. That way the site will stay faster.
