I would have liked to upload the demo disc to the Internet Archive, but in testing it, I couldn't get a ripped ISO to run (although I can confirm that the disc itself works using the epsxe emulator.) At any rate, I figure the number of Retromags users willing and able to run a Japanese region-coded Playstation disc is pretty small, so hopefully there aren't too many of you disappointed by this.

As for the mag itself, due to the disc being the main selling point of all Dengeki PlayStationD issues, it's much shorter than a regular Dengeki Playstation mag. In fact, it's the first mag I've put together in quite some time that was less than 200 pages, so scanning and editing it was a completely different experience for me.

And let me tell you.

It. Was. GLORIOUS!!! Scanned and edited in a single day, only taking about 3 hours. A regular issue takes at least 3 times that. Oh how I wish I owned more short magazines...but alas. This was pretty much it, and now it's back to 250-pagers. Sigh... God damn you Japan and your 1000 pages per month of Famitsu...

I am disappointed at not being able to run the ISO of a Japanese demo disc. Rectify this immediately, or I will be forced to take drastic measures. Drastic, I say!

Also, not sure what is up with the cropping issue. I will look into it when I get home unless Philly fixes it first.

If you figure it out, you might want to fix PC Gamer and Nintendo Power as well, since they have the same problem.

And if not, don't worry - I'll be here to whinge about it every single time I upload a new issue.
