God Of War Issue 01 (May 2010)

I have them but haven't read them since I haven't played the games yet.  They're written by Marv Wolfman, though.  He's a long-time comic vet responsible for older classics like Marvel's Tomb of Dracula and DC's Crisis On Infinite Earths, but I've never really considered him a particularly good writer, especially compared to the talent working in the field today.  So my guess?  Meh.

One of my first comics was Wolfman's The New Teen Titans so I'd probably enjoy them more than most.    Sometimes tough to resolve old-school writing styles with new-school art direction though.

Yeah, the interior art looks heavily photo-referenced, which i hate.  It isn't Greg Land-level godawful tracing, but a lot of the characters do look like photos with digital processing layered on top.
