I remember this ad from way back. Taxan really made a great game. Great sound, decent controls and hey, how can you resist playing as a falcon? lol. My bro and I beat this game quite a few times. I still have a copy to this day.

Here's part 1 of a speed run of 8-Eyes. It's a TAS and damage is taken to facilitate the speed part of the "speed run" but it's not a bad run in the least:
