@  RetroDefense : (23 July 2016 - 10:31 AM)

Recent magazine dbase additions: Amiga World Specials, Amiga World Tech Journal, Manci Games.

@  ♦PowerGamer♦ : (21 July 2016 - 11:30 PM)

Done! I also scanned in a couple other things which came with the form. :)

@  RetroDefense : (21 July 2016 - 06:13 PM)

@PowerGamer Please do! Your member album should suffice. Looking forward to seeing it - video game ephemera deserves preservation too. :)

@  ♦PowerGamer♦ : (21 July 2016 - 03:36 PM)

I have the original form you were supposed to send off for the Nintendo Fun Club newsletter. Is there any interest in a scan of it, and if so, where should I post it?

@  kitsunebi77 : (20 July 2016 - 08:21 PM)

Considering all but one are from 2008 or later, I was at least 15 years too old to be reading Nintendo Power at the time

@  RetroDefense : (20 July 2016 - 08:10 PM)

New Nintendo Power Specials USA dbase section is live. How many of these issues do you own?

@  kitsunebi77 : (20 July 2016 - 11:46 AM)

I'm finding the content aware fill to be an invaluable tool when filling in stuff that's been cropped out. Nothing much can be done if a character sprite gets cropped out at the center line, but luckily most ads are composed better than that.

@  RetroDefense : (20 July 2016 - 11:05 AM)

Fine work with those double-page ads, @kitsunebi77!

@  ♦Jake♦ : (19 July 2016 - 05:55 PM)

I was looking for ads in 1983 E Games and found Commodore 64 game Break Street. I am now programming Hyperspin to play C64. Attention Span.

@  Phillyman : (18 July 2016 - 02:31 PM)

Retromags should now be back online for everyone, I had to convert the database behind the scenes for an upcoming upgrade. Let me know if anything is weird, you may want to flush your browser temp folder before reporting though :)

@  Phillyman : (18 July 2016 - 10:01 AM)

Love all the adverts!

@  kitsunebi77 : (17 July 2016 - 11:52 PM)

Tell me about it. I believe I've got about 700 Sonic comics

@  RetroDefense : (17 July 2016 - 11:22 PM)

At some point @kitsunebi77 will reach the Sonic the Hedgehog portion of his collection and the server will explode. ;)

@  Areala : (13 July 2016 - 08:04 PM)

My pleasure. :)

@  ♦PowerGamer♦ : (13 July 2016 - 07:30 PM)

Ah! Now I see the number! Thanks! :)

@  Areala : (13 July 2016 - 07:18 PM)

I linked it for you, PowerGamer. When it asks for an image number, it wants the actual number of the image in the gallery. If you click on your image, you'll see a number in front of the image name in the URL (in the case of your cover, that number is 9600). Put that number in the field where it asks for the image number for the cover, and it pops right up! Thanks so much for the scan. :) *huggles*

@  ♦PowerGamer♦ : (13 July 2016 - 07:15 PM)

I scanned the cover to Famitsu issue 58, but can't figure out how to add it to its place in the magazine database. It asks for a number. I've placed it in my Member Album.

@  Areala : (13 July 2016 - 07:08 PM)

@kitsunebi77 Divi-Dead?! YES YES YES!! :)

@  Phillyman : (13 July 2016 - 06:26 PM)

way too hot to be walking around outside catching Jigglypuffs

@  Phillyman : (13 July 2016 - 11:59 AM)

done

@  RetroDefense : (13 July 2016 - 11:33 AM)

Can an admin create an "Issue 20 supplement - EG's Complete Guide to Mortal Kombat II (May 1994)" entry in mag dbase sub-cat Electronic Games Supplements? I have the cbr ready to upload.

@  kitsunebi77 : (13 July 2016 - 08:36 AM)

@Areala: the issue of Tech Gian I just dropped the cover on has a strategy section that might interest you.

@  ♦Jake♦ : (13 July 2016 - 01:31 AM)

And then Freeway 1996. Or in reverse order.:D

@  ♦Jake♦ : (13 July 2016 - 12:31 AM)

Hey, check out a fun documentary starring Kiefer Sutherland called I Trust you to Kill Me in 2006

@  ♦Jake♦ : (12 July 2016 - 11:37 AM)

These stickies are all advertisements.

@  ♦Jake♦ : (12 July 2016 - 11:36 AM)

I just found it in Gallery. I was confused because under forum>retro there are stickies that I believed used to have their own forum.

@  kitsunebi77 : (12 July 2016 - 03:33 AM)

Nothing? It's still there.

@  ♦Jake♦ : (11 July 2016 - 10:39 PM)

What ever happened to the Advertisement section?

@  kitsunebi77 : (11 July 2016 - 06:51 AM)

20 different covers for Assassin's Creed #1. That's gotta be some kind of record.

@  ♦Jake♦ : (10 July 2016 - 11:15 PM)

I have EGM 108 July 1998 I downloaded in 2009 in PDF format. It isn't preservered anymore?

@  Phillyman : (09 July 2016 - 05:32 PM)

yeah, I can rename 16 to 0, one sec

@  kitsunebi77 : (09 July 2016 - 05:32 PM)

Is it possible for the 3DO Magazine to start at 0 instead of 1 so I can use the same issue numbers as are printed on the covers? (i.e. 0-15 rather than 1-16?)

@  Phillyman : (09 July 2016 - 05:20 PM)

Japan section is filling out now :)

@  kitsunebi77 : (09 July 2016 - 03:34 PM)

It isn't so bad for a single page that's 1200px high. But it will automatically resize anything with a side larger than that, making two-page joins shrink until they are 1200px wide. Which is weird, because I don't think it used to automatically resize anything, even if it was too big. Remember that enormous 90MB Turok guide cover that got uploaded not long ago? Maybe only certain galleries are set to automatically resize images?

@  Phillyman : (09 July 2016 - 01:54 PM)

Thoughts on a new max resolution, this is another setting left over from when we were on a shared hosting plan.

@  kitsunebi77 : (09 July 2016 - 12:55 AM)

Just noticed that the gallery restricts the dimensions to a max of 1200px height OR width. Fine if it's the height on a single page, but it means that posting joins of two-page ads is out, since a max width of 1200px on a two-page join makes the pic too small.

@  Depressor : (08 July 2016 - 07:24 AM)

Dallas?

@  ♦Jake♦ : (07 July 2016 - 10:09 PM)

We nee respect and we need better training.

@  ♦Jake♦ : (07 July 2016 - 10:08 PM)

Having said that, the news in America with shootings today brings tears to my eyes.

@  ♦Jake♦ : (07 July 2016 - 10:06 PM)

Yeah those disc are an awesoome deal. Deals like that are the reason why I thrive as a professional emulator.

@  Areala : (04 July 2016 - 09:25 PM)

Awesome win, Philly! :)

@  E-Day : (02 July 2016 - 10:39 PM)

I like that the free leech went up on Canada Day ;)

@  Phillyman : (01 July 2016 - 07:20 PM)

Also I won 48 Xbox disks the other day from Ebay. - http://www.ebay.com/itm/142031647141

@  kitsunebi77 : (01 July 2016 - 03:51 PM)

I wonder if the freeleeching has anything to do with how ridiculously slow the site is working for me today...
